The Hearing Loss Association of Cape Cod is almost 20 years old. It began as a branch of SHHH, Self Help for Hard of Hearing People, founded by the late Rocky Stone. We are now an official chapter of the national organization, now called the [1] Hearing Loss Association of America. Individual memberships for HLA are $35 and include a subscription to the excellent magazine, Hearing Loss.

The Cape Cod Chapter covers Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts. Membership is still only $10 a year and begins in January. If you join in the fall of 2009, your membership will include all of 2010 plus the December luncheon.  Membership includes discounted price for 2 luncheons, December 12 and June 12. Our meeting schedule for 2009-2010 is the 4th Saturday of October, January, March and May at Dennis Public Library in Dennisport. Directions are on the website–[2] www.dennispubliclibrary.org

All meetings have CART– computer assisted real time translation of the meeting.
