We invite you to join with other hard of hearing people, friends, family and hearing health professionals to make our quiet world equally accessible to all people and especially to make hearing loss a national concern.
Everyone is welcome at our meetings, whether or not you have a hearing loss. Cape Cod Chapter meetings are the last Saturday of the month at the Dennis Public Library meeting room at 10 AM. Coffee and socializing at 9:30. A board meeting follows which all are welcome to attend.
Chapter fees are $10, National membership is $25. The meeting room is equipped with an loop system which works with hearing aid telecoils plus we have a CART operator who types all the proceedings on a large screen, as you can see in the picture to the right, behind former President Nancy Ames. At our meetings, you will enjoy yourself instead of straining to hear!
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an official chapter of Hearing Loss Association of America.
Our meeting location, Dennis Public Library is located at the intersection of Hall Street and Edwards Avenue, off Route 28 in Dennisport. Look for the "Dennisport Village Green" sign on Route 28. (From Route 6, Mid-Cape Highway: take Exit 9 South, Route 134 south. Proceed to the intersection of Route 28. Make a left turn onto Route 28, proceed for approximately 1.2 miles to the village of Dennisport and bear right at Hall Street. (You will see the Dennisport Natural Food store on your left.) Make an immediate right onto Edwards Street and proceed to the parking lot at the end of the building. See a MAP.
