- Get up and Get Out! Your local libraries have fascinating free events. Use the links below to check out interesting things to do at your
- Meetings at Dennis Public Library have CART -- computer assisted real time transmission. You will not have to strain to hear what the speakers are saying--you read it on the screen almost as soon as it has been said.
- Brewster Ladies Library has an FM system in the meeting room that works with a receiver. Call in advance and say you want to use a receiver and the sound system, and you will be able to hear the program much more clearly.
- Brooks Free Library in Harwich has a portable
FM system with receivers. It is often used in the meeting room but can be set up anywhere in the library, even outside. The new Book-a-Librarian program is a personal half hour computer tutoring session on one topic.
